Dear friends! According to tradition, at midnight on January 15th, the selection of candidates for the world's kindest award was completed.
This time, a lot of very interesting applications came to us at the finish line. Therefore, the organizing committee had to plunge headlong into the work in order to promptly check whether the candidates meet the competition's regulations, contact the heroes of the season and present them on the website.
It can already be stated that this year the number of applicants for the Award turned out to be higher than in the previous one.
In the "Our Brothers" nomination, 21 candidates from 15 regions of our country and six representatives of foreign countries are competing for victory.
This season, there are 20 dogs and five cats among the brave and wise candidates. But a pony and a giant marsupial rat are also competing for a place on the podium. By their actions, all the nominees have once again confirmed the main maxim of our Award: "We need them no less than they need us."
37 noble and courageous animal rights activists from 30 subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as 4 foreign candidates, were declared in the nomination "Responsible for those ...". There are 41 nominees in total.
These people, by their actions, bring harmony to the world around them, and help their younger brothers at the call of their hearts, and not for the sake of prizes and awards. Just because they can't live any other way.
The list of candidates will be sent to the arbitrators as soon as possible, and in early March we will announce the results of their consolidated work.
But according to tradition, in addition to the arbitrators, you can also choose your laureates of the "My affectionate and necessary animal" Award – supporters of the applicants and just associates of our good project. Voting among Internet users starts on Monday, January 26.
