Barmaley the cat became the mascot of the military from the South group in the special military operation zone.

The military commander tells about the adventures of the cat and its owner in his material KP.RU Alexander Kotz.

The four-legged gray fighter became famous after a video got online where a cat flies a helicopter with the military and lives in their location. The cat even has its own telegram channel with several thousand subscribers. 

In the LPR, the Komsomol commander learned a lot about the unusual soldier. The owner of the cat Barmaley used to serve in the Kiev presidential regiment and now he is fighting on our side. The cat does not lag behind its owner. Then with the scouts on the way out, then with the search and rescue service on the way out. Now he's going to the tankers.

"A young grey cat climbed over his master's camouflaged shoulder in the driver's seat of a UAZ and busily descended onto my lap. Standing on his hind legs, he carefully looked out the window, assessing the situation outside with his black eyes. And there the autumn exploded in bright colors, flooded with the still warm sun. Judging by the outstretched moustache, Barmalei liked it and I knew perfectly well that rains would come after this fleeting motley period. And with them is an impassable dummy, which will stick to rubber boots with dirty kilograms, turning them into heavy diving bots," the military commander writes.

Barmaley is a cross between an ordinary cat and, it seems, a noble Briton, he has become the unofficial mascot of the Southern Group of Troops.

- A friend from the special forces gave it to me, - says the officer. - The cat chose me. He was the size of a palm, climbed up my pant leg and fell asleep. And a friend says, "Take it, let it be with you now."

- Since then he has been traveling through units, communicating with fighters, studying the basics of various weapons. Already passed a basic combat training . Well, it affects like psychological unloading on fighters.
