Ruhaifi Isiraf Saad and Siti Aisha Zainul live with their pets in the city of Kuantan.
In early December one of the cats named Hana woke up the owner, as if warning her that the house was on fire, the Malaysian newspaper New Straits Times told.
The fire occurred due to a short circuit around 4 a.m., several electrical appliances were destroyed and furniture in the bedroom was also on fire. Hana woke up the hostess, apparently smelling smoke. "My wife and I woke up and tried to put out the fire by pouring water on it. My wife used a damp cloth to put out the fire of the smoking TV," Ruhaifi Isiraf said.
There were 65 cats in different rooms of the house that used to be homeless, but the family gave them shelter. At the same time Hana slept with the owners. Thus, she saved not only people, but also relatives.
"My husband and I have been living with cats for nine years. We take care of them with love," added Siti Aisha, who works as a school teacher. She said that without anyone's help, she and her husband sacrificed themselves to provide all the conditions for their pets. All cats are like children to them, bringing joy to the house.
