Together with her owner and faithful friend, the inspector of the landscape and recreational park "Zuevsky" Alexander Grosman, Millie makes a daily tour of the territory in the area of Mayevka. Alexander himself does not just love nature, he is its zealous guardian, " writes the newspaper Rodina from the DPR.
The journalists spent one day with their "partners" and went out with them on a mini-raid on a forest plantation behind Cheryomushki, in the so-called Bayrachny forest of Bolshaya Lipovaya Balka in Donbass.
"Millie and I are like a thread with a needle! She is very sad if I leave without her on business, there are very few places where dogs can go. But I always take it to bypass the territory, especially if my partner is in a car, my Millie loves to ride with us and watch from the window," says Alexander Grosman.
Millie is a foundling. Alexander found her near the gate of his house three years ago. The breed is incomprehensible, but with pronounced hunting instincts: the dog "chases" the game. Journalists note that with her shiny short thick hair, Millie looks as if she had just left the barbershop, somewhat resembles a professor's daughter: sensitive and intelligent.
"I tried not to suppress her nature. No training, no authoritarianism. She listens to me well enough without that and knows the basic commands, such as "Lie down!", "Sit!", "Voice!" – the dog's owner continues.
The work of an employee of the Zuyevsky Landscape and recreation Park is special. If we translate the official phrases of the job description into simple language, then the main duty of the inspector of protection of the natural reserve fund of the DPR is to protect nature from people: to prevent fires, unsanitary conditions and also to protect the animal and plant world.
Very often, in their work with Millie, there are vacationers who are not averse to lighting a bonfire in nature and "culturally" relaxing with strong drinks. You also need to be able to negotiate with such "tourists". And Millie is an indispensable frame in this work.
This year, at the solemn ceremony of the Zuyevsky Agricultural Enterprise, dedicated to the Day of the Ecologist, not only park employees received certificates. Under the stormy applause of those present, an unofficial diploma was also presented to Alexander Grosman's four-legged partner.
"For tireless work in protecting the natural environment, relentless patrolling of the territory of the Zuyevsky Landscape Park, for ease, speed and diligence in catching all kinds of animals for the sake of acquaintance, not for the sake of destruction, for endurance when bypassing large territories," such words were written in the letter, which was presented to the dog for the first time in the landscape park, a dog named Millie.
