A dog named Peach survived the bullying of people, he was on the verge of death. But the raccoon Bun helped him, says Komsomolskaya Pravda — Novosibirsk.
The commander of the bomb squad sheltered the abandoned alabai and gave the dog a start in a new life.
There are a lot of abandoned pets in the area, especially dogs. Therefore, hungry and sometimes injured stray dogs can be found almost everywhere, and they often show aggression in search of food. That's what happened to our hero.
- The request for help from civilians turned out to be not ordinary, not mine clearance. A female Tajik wolfhound (alabai) wandered in one of the districts of the city. There was a puppy nearby, about three months old. They were fed by the military, she wandered around their house. She met everyone in uniform normally and even came up to be stroked. But the trouble is, as soon as she sees civilians, the fur stands on end, growls and rushes... After she attacked several people, I was contacted to remove her," said Nikolai, the commander of the sapper group with the call sign "Thunder". - It's a pity to shoot, but on the other hand, I understand that if you don't attach her to responsible people, there may be trouble.
Most likely, the dog was abandoned by the owners, leaving the frontline city. The puppy was not an Alabai, rather a crossbreed, but with very powerful paws. The fighters could not figure out whether the dog was protecting his puppy or the orphan was attached to it.
She attacked people many times. One man was scared, he fell off his bike and broke his arm. She attacked old woman, bit women by dresses and skirts, tore them. Another man was fighting her off with a bicycle. And this is only a small part of the victims. She didn't touch the military. It is unclear where such hatred of civilians came from. The fighters assumed that someone had injured the dog mentally or physically.
But the sappers decided that they would not shoot at the dog, but would try to take it to themselves. They emptied the trunk of their SUV, found a collar, a leash and returned back.
- For more than an hour we got to know her, stroked her, put on and took off the collar with a leash several times, fed her sausage, persuaded her to come with us - she does not want to. Civilians avoid that area, but children can also run in, and it's a pity to shoot... We decided to try it again the next day," Nikolai continues his story.
- They took a muzzle with them. Again, more than an hour of "dancing with tambourines" around the dog and again it does not go! We try to pull on the leash - it lies down on the ground and that's it. We try to put on a muzzle - she shows her teeth (her teeth are good, she's about three years old), and there's such a jaw that all desire disappears. It's a pity to shoot anyway. I'm calling the commander and asking him to send us a dog handler.
A dog handler with the call sign "Wolfhound" arrived and really subdued poor dog. The guys took the dog and the puppy away. The sappers took the baby for themselves, and the dog, who was called Bagheera, now lives in a field camp under the supervision of a dog handler. Nikolai "Thunder" visits his "combat friend" whenever possible. And he talks about the plans like this: - First, we need to end the war, and second, we will not abandon the dog, its owners have already abandoned it.

"A man with a big heart" is how Irina Berezina, the head of the ANO shelter "Your Friend" , is called in Gorodets. Irina has been working at the shelter for seven years and never passes by someone else's trouble. The journalists of Gorodetsky Vestnik told about one such rescue story.
Not so long ago, Irina brought a cat Knopa, the animal had just been sterilized. Weakened and tortured, the cat was placed in a separate cage so that other cats would not touch her. Knopa spent a night and a day in the shelter, but refused to eat and became even weaker. Irina Berezina injected her with painkillers, tried to feed her. But the cat was extremely restless, did not sleep well and did not even drink water.
When Irina took off the bandage, she was scared. The cat was barely breathing and was covered in blood. It turned out that the initial sterilization was performed poorly and after removing the postoperative blanket, the seams parted.
At the veterinary clinic, where Knopa was operated on, Irina was told that the cat had combed the stitches herself, without proper care. There was a shock, but Irina pulled herself together and urgently went to the nearest veterinary clinic. The operation was very difficult and long, Irina was insanely worried and felt sorry for the kitty.
Fortunately, all efforts were not in vain, Knopa managed to survive and is gradually recovering. Now she actively plays with her neighbors at the shelter, eats with pleasure and forgets her suffering.
Irina Vyacheslavovna is a person with a big heart, because it was her love and care that contributed to the recovery of not only Knopa, but also other fluffy guests, writes Gorodetsky Vestnik.
The shelter, where Irina Berezina is both the director and the cleaner in one person, turns 7 years old this year. They live on donations.
- Every month we organize a charity event on the Internet "Fifty Kopeck Week", we ask everyone who is not indifferent to chip in 50 rubles, many respond, - says Irina. - There are sponsors who send money for the rent of the premises and for food. Everything else is voluntary donations from caring people.
Irina Berezina has a big dream - to create a "Cat Museum" open to everyone. In this museum, visitors will be able to admire the extensive exposition dedicated to the feline family, learn the fascinating history of the origin of cats and, of course, not only pet the living furry inhabitants of the museum, but take their beloved furry friend with them to their family.

The girls wove beaded jewelry, sold them on the street and gave the proceeds to the vet clinic.
The holidays of the two sisters Maria and Milana Marshin are held under the slogan "Let's save and cure all animals," says the girls' mother Olesya. Every sick kitten or puppy causes compassion in girls and they spend their pocket money on eye drops, buying food for stray dogs and cats. The sisters did not pass by the kitten, which they began to call Milash (Cutie). They picked up the poor guy on the street with a broken paw and took him to the nearest veterinary clinic.
They diagnosed a fracture of the hind leg. The veterinarians announced the bill — more than five thousand rubles. For schoolgirls this amount was completely unaffordable. But the girls did not lose their heads and organized in their area a collection of money for the operation for Milash. Yes, it's not a simple collection! 10-year-old Maria and 12-year-old Milana know how to create girly masterpieces from beads. The girls did not lose their heads, they made bracelets out of beads, their mother gave them old amber beads, which turned into new jewelry in the hands of the sisters. And they sold all this on the street in their neighborhood, calling on passers-by to help with money for an operation for a kitten. As a result, they collected the necessary amount for the treatment of Milash!
The kitten has already been operated on, quite successfully, now the baby is on the mend and is waiting for new owners.
By the way, a cat and a dog already live in the Marshin family. The last girl was also found on the street and brought home. At the native 33rd school in Kaliningrad, they do not yet know about the girls' act. Now on the holidays the sisters are busy with a much more important mission — saving all the homeless "barsiks" and "murziks".
