The friendship of fighter Vadim with the call sign "911" and a tiny Doberman puppy began near Lugansk almost a year ago. The fighter simply bought the dog from the locals and took it with him. So the dog became the best friend not only of the stormtrooper, but also of the entire unit.
Vadim, 32, is a professional military man, from the very first day, originally from Chelyabinsk. He is currently teaching other soldiers how to storm the training ground. And Zeus is always there. He also participates in training and is constantly in positions. He doesn't leave the owner's side and knows all the commands. The fighters who serve together say that Zeus is a cautious dog, can walk through a minefield, ride a tank, and is not afraid of explosions. And so that the dog does not lose his shape, the owner practices cross-country skiing.
Well, after representatives of the Irkutsk Popular Front came to the guys, the time of popularity began for Zeus. That's how almost everyone found out about him, especially when a specially made bulletproof vest was made for the dog, the online newspaper Slyudyanka writes.
"When our volunteer Irina was offered to sew a bulletproof vest for the front dog Zeus, she did not refuse. I studied the match and got down to business," the newspaper writes with reference to the volunteers of the Irkutsk Popular Front.
Vadim took the measurements, and already in Irkutsk, the craftswoman began to work. Irina Borisova, an activist of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland in the Irkutsk region, approached with all her heart, making a costume for growth, with pockets, zippers, Velcro. During the humanitarian mission to the free zone, the guys from the Popular Front delivered fashionable equipment from Irkutsk to Zeus.
And now the Doberman performs combat missions in the zone of a special military operation, not only under the protection of the owner, but also with a real bulletproof vest.
And the owner is calm – the dog is protected, and in his pockets he has sweets and ... grenades – the four-legged warrior is always on guard!
