The nomination "Responsible for those ...": Arslan Zagitov annually participates in charity events and goes to animal shelters.

A schoolboy lives in the small town of Mezhgorye in the southern Urals. Arslan is the third child in the family, the age difference between his older brother Timur and his sister Sofia is more than twenty years. And since birth, the boy has seen, using the example of his elders, how the family takes care of animals that were once abandoned on the street.

"We've always had dogs and cats abandoned by someone. And now we have a one-eyed kitty named Busia, whom we took away from overexposure. We saw a post on the social network and decided to take her in. Arslan took care of her right away. He also has a beloved dog, Lana, who lives not far from home. This chipped city dog runs happily to Arslan every time he sees him," said the schoolboy's mother.

Lilya Zagitova works as a teacher of additional education at the Extracurricular Work Center and her youngest son is her main assistant in good actions. In winter, Arslan feeds the birds, in summer he takes part in fencing off anthills, does not miss any environmental clean-up, hands over plastic caps and used batteries, which are then taken to Ufa for disposal. But Arslan's even more responsible act is that he spends all his earned money on helping animals.

"Arslan gets money for housework: he helps his dad clean snow, works in the garden in the summer, and hands over waste paper. He puts all this in a piggy bank. There is no shelter in Mezhgorye, and the family council decided that every time we leave for Beloretsk, we will stop at the shelter," continues Lilia Zagitova.

Arslan does not come to the shelter empty-handed. According to his parents, he constantly buys dry food, cereals and canned food. Moreover, the boy invites all concerned residents of the city to join him. So Arslan initiated another campaign for this shelter from the neighboring town of Nadezhda. A team of like-minded people from the "Movement of the First", through Arslan and his dad, handed over bowls, beds, feed and a large pot of porridge with stew, which was cooked for the puppies of the shelter.
