Dear friends, there are exactly seven days left until the end of the first round of the "Popular Vote".
Following the results of the second week of the online elections, there was a steady activity of supporters, both in general of our good project and of specific candidates of the seventh season. As of 9:00 a.m. Kaliningrad time, a total of 68,243 votes were cast for the candidates in the two nominations.
Similar trends of stable dynamics were observed in previous seasons, and as it turned out later, they only indicated that all participants in the process were saving up their strength before the final segment of the first round.
So, we can assume with some confidence that this week will be very interesting!
The Organizing Committee is again perplexed to note that the difference between votes cast for animal rights activists and votes in support of the lesser brothers is still increasing and has reached more than 8000 votes.
Therefore, we cannot help but ask those who actively vote exclusively for animal rights activists: are the actions of wonderful affectionate and necessary animals not worthy of your attention and recognition?
We would like to remind you that our project was established primarily to demonstrate to society that we need them, no less than they need us. Therefore, we ask you once again to pay attention to the exploits of the shaggy, fluffy, maned and marsupials of the seventh season. They really deserve human recognition!
As we expected, there have been rotations and changes in the leadership group in each nomination.
According to the results of the second week, the top five favourites among the "Our brothers" are as follows (listed by application numbers)
- Cat Musya (Yalta, Republic of Crimea)
- German Shepherd Donbass (Irkutsk-Lugansk)
- Labrador Retrieverpark (Belarus)
- Doberman Rainier (Leningrad region)
- Cat Vizha (Donetsk-Moscow)
As you can see, over the past seven days, supporters of the Musi cat from Yalta have worked very hard. But the dog Butuz support group from Belgorod has slowed down somewhat. Nevertheless, there is no doubt: the whole fight for reaching the finals is still ahead.
There have been more drastic changes in the "Responsible for those..." nomination. At the moment, supporters of the crew of the icebreaker Yakutia (Murmansk) and the volunteers of the Shelter of the Hedgehog center from St. Petersburg have lost their positions. But the support group of the organizers of the Omsk Tails shelter has been working tirelessly this week.
As a result, the top five nominees currently look like this (listed by application numbers)
- Omsk Tails Shelter (Omsk)
- Karen Dallakyan (Chelyabinsk)
- Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk)
- Mother Arseniya (Lipetsk region)
- Nayda Homeless Animal Protection Center (Novgorod Region)
Nevertheless, at least eight candidates in this nomination have a very real chance to change the situation in their favour over the rest of the week. So, we have no doubt that there will be a lot of surprises for all of us before the second round.
