On April 18 and 19, award ceremonies will be held for the winners of the sixth season of the International Award “My Affectionate and Necessary Animal” and the first International Contest for Russian-language media and bloggers “By Pen and Heart”.
The winners will be awarded on Friday, April 18th.
In the "Our Brothers" nomination, 20 candidates from 11 regions of our country, as well as from three countries of the world — Portugal, Great Britain and Belarus - claimed victory. Including dogs, cats, hippopotamus, python and bats. All of them performed resonant actions that clearly proved that our younger brothers are really brothers to us, not in words, but in deeds.
44 animal rights activists — 38 from 28 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as 8 foreign nominees from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Argentina and the Netherlands - were declared in the nomination "Responsible for those ...".

"By Pen and Heart" contest received 418 applications from 213 journalists from 62 regions of the Russian Federation and seven foreign countries — Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan.

Awarding of the winners of the "Shaggy Oscar" will be held this year for the sixth time. The purpose of our Award is to pay tribute to the heroes of our younger brothers who have committed acts worthy of respect or raised important topical issues in our society. Our four-legged friends, as well as people and organizations that help animals, will receive recognition. We also traditionally summarize the results of the contest for the media and present awards to the winners of the popular vote.
