Dear friends! Our arbitrators have determined the winners of the anniversary season of the international competition "By Pen and Heart".
Yes, this is not a typo, the journalistic nomination appeared in our project a year later than the others. When establishing it, no one doubted that the theme of responsible attitude to the lesser brothers would be popular among colleagues. But we could not even imagine that in a short period of time this nomination would cross the borders of Russia and also become international. That is why this year the creative prize was reorganized into an independent project — the "By Pen and Heart" competition, the first international competition in the history of Russian journalism for Russian-language media and bloggers.
This season, 213 journalists and bloggers from 62 regions of the Russian Federation and 7 countries of the near and far abroad submitted a total of 418 works to the competition, completely different in styles and genres. The jury of the Award faced a difficult task: to choose the best works from a variety of piercing reports, philosophical essays, vivid investigations, non-standard projects, historical excursions and honest essays about the people and brothers of our lesser ones. And our referees coped with this task. According to the results of the consolidated protocol, the winners of the season were (listed in the order of receipt of applications):
You will find out which of the laureates will be at the top of the podium, who will receive silver and bronze medals, special prizes of the competition, prizes of our partners, as well as the names of honorary diplomats (there are ten of them this season) during the award ceremony, which will be held in Zelenogradsk on April 18 and 19.
Also, dear friends, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that this season the competition has received 18 applications from those who are just taking the first steps in our difficult profession. It should be noted that applications are not for the age of mature, creative and certainly talented people. According to the decision of the partner of the competition, the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation, all the works of young correspondents will not be ignored.
