The nominees for the "My affectionate and necessary animal" award are animals that have committed important and worthy deeds that caused a wide public response in the media and the Internet over the past year, determined by the organizing committee during the monitoring of applications received.
The nominees in the special nomination "Responsible for those ..." are the people who have distinguished themselves most in the protection of wildlife.
Any citizen of Russia and another country can declare a participant by sending an application in any form by January 15, 2025, as well as a link to the publication.
In the media nomination, journalists and bloggers who write about problems of interaction with the outside world can apply for the award.
Those wishing to participate in the journalistic nomination should familiarize themselves with the REGULATIONS of the COMPETITION FOR THE MEDIA. APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED BY E-MAIL

To pay tribute to the heroes from among our lesser brothers who have committed acts worthy of respect or raised important topical issues in our society.
In the special nomination "Responsible for those ...", eco-defenders (public figures, organizations or just citizens) who have distinguished themselves most in the protection of wildlife are noted.

And it is no coincidence - the residents of our city considered it unfair that the world annually pays tribute to people who showed heroism and bravery, who made important discoveries for our civilization, but, unfortunately, our furry friends remain without attention. Friends who sometimes perform real feats or simply bring harmony into our lives with their actions.
Therefore, in 2019 we established an award the main contenders for which were and will remain those who are always with us. Those who do not know how to betray. Those who make this complex and sometimes crazy world much kinder and wiser.
And every year in our wonderful city we will reward loyal and reliable friends who have done truly human deeds.
